The Boxing Federation of India on Thursday named a 19-member Indian squad for the Thailand Open International tournament, to be held in Bangkok from May 24 to June 1.
Boxers from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Japan, Korea and Thailand will also compete.
Silver medallists in the National championships have been named in the Indian team, which includes 10 men and nine women boxers. The gold medallists are expected to compete in the Kazakhstan leg of the World Boxing Cup from June 30 to July 7.
The squad: Men: Naothoi Singh Kongkham (50kg), Pawan Bartwal (55kg), Nikhil (60kg), Amit Kumar (65kg), Hemant Yadav (70kg), Deepak (75kg), Dhruv Singh (80kg), Jugnoo (85kg), Naman Tanwar (90kg) and Anshul Gill (90kg+).
Women: Yasika Rai (48kg), Tamanna (51kg), Abha Singh (54kg), Priya (57kg), Sanju (60kg), Saneh (70kg), Anjali (75kg), Lalfakmawii Ralte (80kg) and Kiran (80kg+).
