Off-spinner J. Hemchudeshan’s five for 45 and left-arm spinner P. Vidyuth’s five for 46 helped TNCA President’s XI bowl out Chhattisgarh for 141 and secure a 59-run win on day three of the third-round match in the Buchi Babu tournament at the Gojan-A ground on Thursday.

Hemchudeshan finished with a match haul of 11 for 109 and Vidyuth eight for 89. For Chhattisgarh, off-spinner Sahban Khan scalped five for 34.

Left-arm spinner Vishal Bhati picked up six for 75 as Bengal skittled out TNCA XI for 213 and went on to post a six-wicket win at the Gojan-B ground.

Jharkhand restricted Punjab to 271 for eight to secure a 131-run win at the CPT-IP turf ground, courtesy of left-arm spinner Anukul Roy (five for 79). Opener Harnoor Singh Pannu top-scored with 106 for Punjab.

TNCA President’s XI will face Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana will take on Hyderabad in the semifinals.
