Asian doubles squash championships – The Hindu

India confirmed its place on the podium in both the men’s and women’s doubles categories of the second Asian doubles squash championships.

In the men’s doubles quarterfinals, Abhay Singh and Velavan Senthilkumar defeated Korea’s Minwoo Lee and Jooyoung Na 10-11, 11-3, 11-5. With the victory, the duo advanced to the semifinals having assured itself of a medal.

In women’s doubles, Joshana Chinappa and Anahat Singh scripted a facile 11-6, 11-3 victory over the Philippines’ Jemyca Aribado and Yvonne Alyssa Dalida. The result also ensured a medal for India in the women’s division.
