Three generations of India’s women cricketers came together to shed light on the growth of women’s cricket. Shantha Rangaswamy, former and first captain of India’s women’s cricket team revealed that the pioneers of the game held their own to ensure the longevity of the game.
Mithali Raj, former captain of India’s women’s cricket team, seconded and added that they could build the game because of the foundation laid down by their seniors.
Shreyanka Patil, one of the stars of the current women’s team, paid tribute to her predecessors.
They were in conversation with KC Vijaya Kumar, The Hindu sports editor.
